Draped trench coat with yokes
I was aiming for that spy look ā only stripped down to a minimal ā for this trench coat. I remove the collar and hid the buttons and the pockets. The yokes is the main focus, and together with the belt, I hoped to emphasize my non existing waistline. Also, I have a weakness towards gold details, so I added flat studs on the top and bottom of the pocket on each side.

The sleeves was the main struggle when making the coat. I always find it really hard to get them to fit just right, and I still think they look a bit odd. Also I wish I had planned the layout better before cutting the fabric, because I totally forgot to leave fabric for the belt, and ended up with it being slightly on the short side.
Oh well, after all Iām still pretty happy with the end result, and I love the way the fabric flow when I wear it.
Note to self
Remember to save enough fabric for the belt. It would be a shame to have to buy two extra meters of fabric when the rest of the coat is finished.

Thank you very much, Steffie! I hope to get around to digitalise this pattern one day so I can share how I made it.
